Happy New Year! We hope this message finds you well, and that you and your family had a lovely holiday.
Fostering a sense of belonging and building healthy relationships is the heart at everything we do at Hampstead School. Last term our Year 9 and Year 10 students participated in healthy relationship workshops expertly delivered by London-based charity Tender.
Our aim is to prevent embedded violence through the curriculum and in school policies, as well as to provide our staff and students with the knowledge and confidence to tackle gender-based violence, articulate their feelings, and keep themselves and others safe.
This term our students and staff are focusing on the value of gratitude by reflecting on what is good about our lives, our homes, our family, and our community. We recognise that this is not always easy in an ever-changing and complex world, but believe that exploring activities that encourage us to focus on the things we are grateful for, and how we can express that gratitude to others vastly improves wellbeing.
We look forward to hearing about how students continue these reflections at home, and we are eager to continue working with you to support our young people. Your partnership is invaluable, and we look forward to all the great things we will accomplish together in the coming months.
We work hard to reduce all the kinds of harm that children can suffer, including abuse, bullying, discrimination, radicalisation and avoidable injuries. If you have any concerns at all about the safety or welfare of a child, please contact us using the Report it Sort it form or email the relevant year team leadership:
