Careers Fair
We are delighted to share the success of our recent careers fair, on the 6th March, which offered our students a remarkable array of opportunities and insights into various career paths. This event was a testament to the diverse range of options available to our students, sparking enthusiasm and inspiration as they explore their future possibilities.
Students had the chance to engage in meaningful conversations with representatives from over 40 institutions, including the Savoy Hotel, the University of Oxford, Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, ASK Apprenticeships, Maclaren Construction and The British Army, alongside some fantastic community connections.
All the institutions commented on the fantastic questions they were asked by our students, and how engaged they all were in discussions of their futures. We wanted to share a couple of highlights:
Oxford University: “I had steady stream of students visiting the Oxford stall across the course of the day who were all engaged and ready to ask thoughtful and interesting questions. It is particularly rare to have students as young as KS3 so engaged and excited to talk about the prospect of university, so this was lovely to see.”
London’s Air Ambulance Charity: “The students I spoke to were all polite and engaged; they had clearly been well prepared to make the most of the opportunity to meet a wide range of people and organisations. It is always a pleasure to visit Hampstead School.”
The careers fair highlighted the vast spectrum of opportunities available to our students, from higher education to apprenticeships, corporate careers to creative industries, and much more. It was an enriching experience that broadened their horizons and helped them envision their future paths.
We are extremely proud of the way our students approached this opportunity and made the most of the diverse options presented to them.
