Home Learning
Home learning is an essential part of the curriculum at Hampstead School. It improves students’ thinking and memory and helps students develop positive study skills and habits that will serve them well throughout life. Research shows that regular home learning encourages students to use their time wisely, and teaches them to work independently whilst taking responsibility for their own learning.
Home learning allows students to review and practise what has been covered in class and helps students to get ready for their next lesson. In some subjects, home learning helps students learn to use resources, such as libraries, reference materials, and websites to find information encouraging them to explore subjects more fully than classroom time permits. It also allows parents to understand more about what students are learning in school.

Seneca Learning
Seneca is an education platform that can be used across all Subjects and Key Stages to set assignments for home learning, support revision both independently and in class where appropriate and provide excellent retrieval practise.
We now have Premium Access for all students across the school in almost all subjects.
Seneca can be accessed through the tile on Hampstead.RMUnify.com then selecting "Continue with Microsoft"
Hampstead.RMUnify.com
Hampstead.RMUnify.com allows students to access a variety of home learning software with a single username and password.
Hampstead.RMUnify.com should be the first page every student visits each morning.
Microsoft Teams
The most straightforward way to access Microsoft Teams is from the tile on Hampstead.RMUnify.com.
A choice is then given whether to install the mobile or desktop app or continue using the browser. When using a laptop loaned by the school, please select the browser option. Otherwise, this choice will be down to personal preference.
Once logged in to Microsoft Teams students will be able to select their timetabled class from the available tiles in the Teams tab and view all assignments from the Assignments tab.
